Artistic Vision
Elena Grish (Córdoba, 1985) is a visual artist with a background in architecture and multidisciplinary arts. Her career is deeply rooted in the exploration of color, light and texture as an emotional and symbolic language, always seeking beauty, transformation, and inner balance.
After years of research and evolution, she now works primarily with acrylics on canvas, using spatulas and brushes to compose abstract pieces rich in texture and expressive energy. With meticulous attention to color and materiality, she creates radiant, harmonious works that invite contemplation and evoke a deep sense of happiness, renewal, and soulful connection.
Her art expresses inner spiritual worlds through form and color, blending intuitive gesture with refined visual design. Each collection offers a sensorial and symbolic experience, weaving together contemporary spirituality, visual well-being, and emotional design.
Career
Elena Grish is a Spanish visual artist whose work celebrates the union of color, emotion, and inner transformation. She has recently exhibited at Red Dot Miami (Art Basel Week) and Europe Art Fair Maastricht (The Netherlands)—two major international events in the contemporary art circuit.
Throughout her career, she has exhibited in Miami (USA), Maastricht (Netherlands), Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, and London, including a show at the Hilton Hotel and a charity auction at the National Liberal Club, where she was invited as a guest artist. She has also collaborated with institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts of Córdoba and the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid.
Elena studied Architecture at the University of Seville and worked for nearly a decade in architectural design, an experience that continues to shape her spatial and visual sensibility. Later, she trained in Contemporary Art at the Círculo de Bellas Artes of Madrid, where she presented works exploring the body, space, and symbol.
Her early drawings—meticulous ink compositions of over 10,000 lines—evolved into a more gestural, tactile, and color-driven language, using acrylic and palette knife on canvas. Her paintings are known for their refined elegance and vibrant vitality, balancing light, movement, and depth.
Since 2023, her work has been featured in Revistart, a contemporary art magazine. Her paintings belong to private collections in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Latin America, and are also available through the international platform Singulart.
Currently
She lives and works in Córdoba, after having lived in the UK, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Spain. These intercultural experiences have enriched her artistic approach, reflected in her use of diverse color palettes and her ability to integrate contrasts into visual harmony.
Her current practice bridges curatorial projects and collaborations with architects and designers who seek transformative artistic experiences—where aesthetics, spirituality, and emotional resonance come together.
